Inline Medium Pressure Filters (MDS/FPG) available from the Sofima/UFI range provide high efficiency filtration and are designed to protect sensitive system components, they are normally installed downstream from the hydraulic pump on the pressure line but before any control valves which protect directly one of more components. The quality of materials used ensure high efficiency and reliability on the field and are suitable for use on stationary and mobile applications.
Port sizes range from 3/4" to 1" BSP with flow rates from 50 L/min to 150 L/min and a maximum pressure of 50 bar.
The replaceable filter elements used are primarily made from glass fibre, they provide absolute filtration (ßx = 75) and are multi pass tested to achieve the acceptable beta ratio, alternatively filtration using cellulose paper (ßx = 2) and steel wire mesh can be used. The elements range from 5µ to 21µ in glass fibre, 10µ & 25µ in cellulose paper and 25µ to 90µ in steel wire mesh. Visual and electrical differential indicators are also available to order.
